No, not at all — as long as you have a reason to do so. The accepted answer mark is really just the original poster saying they think they are satisfied, but there is usually room for improvement. ...

Is there a way to figure out what % of questions on H.SE have accepted answers?

Advanced search options can help here. As I'm writing this, we have 4,164 questions with an accepted answer and 5,342 questions without one. So the percentage you're looking for is about 44%.
