“Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all.”
I'm a Biblical Unitarian, in the tradition of Newton, Locke, and Milton, Socinius and Servetus. Contemporary Biblical Unitarians who have influenced me include Sir Anthony Buzzard, Dr. Dale Tuggy, and Bill Schlegel.
As a starter for an accurate Christology, I recommend Acts 2:22. Thousands of years of philosophizing have obscured certain simple truths in the Bible.
But primarily, I'm a Christian, which means a follower of the Way. John 20:31
"But these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in His name."
I believe in the tradition of "iron sharpening iron," and the Berean approach of searching out things in the scriptures. I think there are strengths and weaknesses to basically all denominations. I don't think there's any simple hermeneutic approach, but a tool-box of skills and tactics that can help us elucidate the truth.
